ISLAMIC ARMED FORTRESS EMERGES FROM POCONO MOUNTAINS

WORLD’S “MOST DANGEROUS ISLAMIST” ALIVE, WELL, AND LIVING IN PENNSYLVANIA

FEDS TURN BLIND EYE TO MOUNTING HOMELAND SECURITY THREAT

by

Paul L. Williams, Ph.D.

The most dangerous Islamist in the world is neither Afghani nor Arab.

He comes from neither Sudan nor Somalia.

And he resides in neither the mountains of Pakistan nor the deserts of the Palestinian territories.

This individual has toppled the secular government of Turkey and established madrassahs throughout the world.

His schools indoctrinate children in the tenets of radical Islam and prepare adolescents for the Islamization of the world.

More than 90 of these madrassahs have been established as charter schools throughout the United States. They are funded by American taxpayers.

One of these charter schools – – Tarek ibn Zayed Academy (TiZA) in Minnesota – – is so radically Islamic and subversive in nature that the Minnesota Department of Education issued two citations against it and the American Civil Liberties Union is suing it.

Dozens of his universities, including the Faith University in Istanbul, train young men to become lawyers, accountants, and political leaders so that they can take an active part in the restoration of the Ottoman Empire and the Islamization of the Western World.

He also allegedly operates compounds to train jihadis in the tactics of guerilla warfare.

This individual has amasssed a fortune – – over $30 billion – – for the creation of a universal caliphate.

His name is Fethullan Gulen and he resides not in the wilds of southern Turkey – – but the mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania.

From his fortess headquarters, located on 28 acres at 1857 Mt. Eaton Road in Saylorsburg, PA, Gulen plots the overthrow of secular governments and oversees the spread of education jihad throughout Asia, Europe, and the United States.

Gulen is surrounded by an army of over 100Turkish Islamists, who guard him and tend to his needs. The army is comprised of armed militants who wear suits and ties and do not look like traditional Islamists in cloaks and turbans. They follow their hocaefendi’s (master lord’s) orders and even refrain from marrying until age fifty per his instructions. When they do marry, their spouses are expected to dress in the Islamic manner, as dictated by Gülen himself.

The Saylorsburg property consists of a massive chalet surrounded by numerous out buildings, including recreational centers, dormitories, cabins for visiting foreign dignitaries, a helicopter pad, and firing ranges.

Neighbors complain of the incessant sounds of gunfire – – including the rat-tat-tat of fully automatic weapons – – coming the compound and the low flying helicopter that circles the area in search of all intruders.

The FBI has been called to the scene, the neighbors say, but no action has been taken to end the illegal activity.

Sentries stand guard at the gates to the estate to turn away all curiosity seekers.

Within the sentry hut are wide screen televisions that project high resolution images from security cameras.

Before the hut is a sign that reads “Golden Generation Worship and Retreat Center.”

It’s hard for the local residents to understand that the Muslim who operates this compound is not an American political or intelligence official – – but rather a radical Islamist from Turkey.

Gulen fled Turkey in 1998 to avoid prosecution on charges that he was attempting to undermine Turkey’s secular government with the objective of establishing an Islamic government. Since his arrival in Pennsylvania, the Department of Homeland Security has been trying to deport him. But in 2008 a federal court ruled that Gulan was an individual with “extraordinary ability in the field of education” who merited permanent residence status in the U.S.

The ruling remains quizzical because Gulen has no formal education training.

Gülen, according to the Middle East Quarterly, was a student and follower of Sheikh Sa’id-i Kurdi (1878-1960), also known as Sa’id-i Nursi, the founder of the Islamist Nur (light) movement. After Turkey’s war of independence, Kurdi demanded, in an address to the new parliament, that the new republic be based on Islamic principles. He turned against Atatürk and his reforms and against the new modern, secular, Western republic.

How powerful is Gulen? And why is he such a threat to America and the Western world?

Consider this.

Turkey is now ruled by the Justice and Democratic Party (Adalet ve Kalkinma, AKP)- – a party under the Gulen’s control. Abdullah Gul, Turkey’s first Islamist President, is a Gulen disciple along with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Yusuf Ziya Ozcan, the head of Turkey’s Council of Higher Education.

Under the AKP, Turkey has transformed from a secular state into an Islamic country with 85,000 active mosques – – one for every 350- citizens – – the highest number per capita in the world, 90,000 imams, more imams than teachers and physicians – – and thousands of state-run Islamic schools.

Despite the rhetoric of European Union accession, Turkey has transferred its alliance from Europe and the United States to Russia and Iran. It has moved toward friendship with Hamas, Hezbollah, and Syria and created a pervasive anti-Christian, anti-Jewish, and anti-American animus throughout the populace.

Speaking on Monday at the inauguration ceremony of “TRT al Turkiye”, the new channel of the state run TV station TRT, Prime Minister Erdogan said Turkey will always be on the side of Muslims wherever they are.

Gulen’s tentacles stretch throughout the country since his followers, known as Fethullahists, have gained control of the country’s media outlets, its financial institutions and banks, and its business organizations.

According to Bayram Balci, a Turkish scholar, the Gulen schools that have been established throughout the world seek to expand “the Islamization of Turkish nationality and the Turification of Islam” in order to bring about a universal caliphate ruled by Islamic law.

Several countries have outlawed the establishment of Gulen schools and cemaats (communities) within their borders – – including Russia and Uzbekistan. Even the Netherlands, a nation that embraces pluralism and tolerance, has opted to cut funding to the Gulen schools because of their imminent threat to the social order.

But Gulen’s activities in the United States, including the establishment of an armed fortress in the midst of the Pocono Mountains, have escaped national press attention.

In his public statements, Gulen espouses a liberal version of Sunni/Hanafi Islam and promotes the Muslim notion of hizmet – – altruistic service to the common good.

Despite the paramilitary training at his Pocono fortress, Gulen has condemned terrorism and called for interfaith dialogue. He has met with Pope John Paul II, the Greek Orthodox Patriarch Bartholomeos, and Israeli Sephardic Head Rabbi Eliyahu Bakshi-Doron.

In private, Gulen has stated that “in order to reach the ideal Muslim society ‘every method and path is acceptable, [including] lying to people.’”

In a sermon that was aired on Turkish television, Gulen said:

You must move in the arteries of the system without anyone noticing your existence until you reach all the power centers … until the conditions are ripe, they [the followers] must continue like this. If they do something prematurely, the world will crush our heads, and Muslims will suffer everywhere, like in the tragedies in Algeria, like in 1982 [in] Syria … like in the yearly disasters and tragedies in Egypt. The time is not yet right. You must wait for the time when you are complete and conditions are ripe, until we can shoulder the entire world and carry it … You must wait until such time as you have gotten all the state power, until you have brought to your side all the power of the constitutional institutions in Turkey … Until that time, any step taken would be too early—like breaking an egg without waiting the full forty days for it to hatch. It would be like killing the chick inside. The work to be done is [in] confronting the world. Now, I have expressed my feelings and thoughts to you all—in confidence … trusting your loyalty and secrecy. I know that when you leave here—[just] as you discard your empty juice boxes, you must discard the thoughts and the feelings that I expressed here.

Why has the federal government opted to turn a blind eye to Gulen and his mountain fortress?

Why have Gulen’s madrassahs been kept under the radar screen of Hoimeland Security?

Why have the CIA and FBI allowed Gulen to wreak havoc and topple secular governments without interruption or intervention?

The answers remain anyone’s guess.

At one point, Gulen and Murdoch appeared to the collaborating. Gulen’s “Sunday’s Zaman” had a small “Sunday Times” (Murdoch) logo on its website. This was later removed (Murdoch probably didn’t want to be seen as being in bed with an Islamist preacher the Turkish state has charged with “plotting to overthrow the Secular Republic”).

  5. BabbaZee says:

Few U.S. policymakers have heard of Fethullah Gülen, perhaps Turkey’s most prominent theologian and political thinker. Self-exiled for more than a decade, Gülen lives a reclusive life outside Philadelphia, Pa. Within months, however, he may be as much a household a name in the United States as is Ayatollah Khomeini, a man who was as obscure to most Americans up until his triumphant return to Iran almost 30 years ago.

Many academics and journalists embrace Gülen and applaud his stated vision welding Islam with tolerance and a pro-European outlook. Supporters describe him as progressive. In 2003, the University of Texas honored him as a “peaceful hero,” alongside Martin Luther King Jr., Mahatma Gandhi, and the Dalai Lama. Last October, the British House of Lords and several British diplomats celebrated Gülen at a high-profile London conference. Later this year, Georgetown University scholar John Esposito will host a conference dedicated to the movement. As in 2001, Esposito will cosponsor with the Rumi Forum, an organization Gülen serves as honorary president.

  12. BabbaZee says:

Oh I HAD to come back and leave this one

Also mentioned is the interesting connection with Fethullah Gulen. It says that the Gulen Gang and the Ihlas Gang have close, insider connections. This would mean that Grossman, as a consultant to Ihlas, and a vice-chairman of The Cohen Group, is that much closer to Gulen and his Nurcular. If you don’t know about the Nurcular, there’s an excellent little backgrounder on Gulen and his gang here, by Aland Mizell.

From Mizell’s article, Gulen operates way behind the scenes, something that he began at least as far back as Turgut Ozal’s time. Ozal, the guy who negotiated the Turkish-Islamic synthesis with the Turkish general staff, was a member of Gulen’s Gang. You might ask, why would the official gatekeepers charged with maintaining the purity of Kemalism go along with the creation of this synthesis? Simple. They thought they could control it, kind of like they thought they could control their creation of Turkish Hezbollah. Their attitude is that if there will be communism in Turkey, they will bring the communism. Ditto on Islamism. When it became clear that Gulen was intent on taking control of the state from the Turkish general staff, the pashas were willing to do whatever was necessary to maintain their power.

With that, Gulen high-tailed it to the US, where he sits now, in control of the same network that spreads the same ideology that has turned Turkey into a highly anti-American place (as well as highly anti-semitic). Let’s not forget that Gulen’s network is worldwide. Given the connections that we are digging up on the Deep State in America, it is no longer so surprising to see Gulen safe and sound under the sheltering wing of his American protectors.

Isn’t it fascinating about all the good dirt that never makes it into the American media? Again, why is that?

I wonder what Sibel Edmonds would say?

Merebah, I have lived in Turkey and Attaturk would turn in his grave. A Macedonian, by birth, but a Turk by choice. He was the first ray of hope for the Turkish people, in particular the women of Turkey. These men in the present government will take you back to the PreBiblical times that is the fate of other women living under Islam. You know it and I know it. We often spoke of what would ever happen if your president remained in power. Your reply was, “Our Army will protect us”. Women of Turkey, get out there in the street. Deman you rights. TURKEY IS NOT LONG THE OTTERMAN EMPIRE, WHICH KEPT YOU IN CHAINS. Most of you go to University these days and you are not shackled in those dreadful black garments. You are sexually free. If you want to remain the free people that your father Attaturk intended for you, put down this governmant. They are the forces of Satan. Many of you have given the Jami away years ago, not that you were ever allowed to pray beside men, and you have chosen education, modernity, freedom. You will lose it all if you allow these satanists get away with YOUR FREEDOM. UNITE TURKEY, HOLD ON TO WHAT IS YOUR BIRTHRIGHT. Good men of Turkey support you women. You have always loved them as free and independent women. FREEDOM. FREEDOM FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN. My love and support are with you just as you supported me Meliha, and all my other dear friends in Turkey.

There exists an Islamic Radical school operating in State College Pa, where it is run by people, uncertified, uninterested in certification, without citizenship for many, and shariah law abounds. YSCP, is using Federal funding to do this and pretending it is a foreign language school. Last year, it did not renew the contracts of most American women, many who left for other schools. Most employees are new yearly. Most middle school students left when then knowledge was uncovered last year. The charter should not be renewed, there is no curriculum in place, just hidden ideology.

Before you come up with that serious claims, at least do something to verify your claims otherwise please do not create prejudice or hatred and humiliate yourselves, please!!!!

  30. Kurukafa says:

I am living in Turkey and we have been expressing our fears of this terrorist for a long time… He is the most prominent threat to our (secular Turkish) way of life, and to our great horror, he is actually being supported by US Government. What happened 30 years ago in Iran (US support of Humeyni before Islamic Revolution) is happening again… same players, different stage… We’ll see the outcome in a few years, yet i am losing hope that secular and modern Turkey will lose in the end.

  31. Turker says:

This terrorist and his organization / AKP (Ruling Party in Turkey) does not want other people to watch this video so they made up a story about ATATURK and blocked the youtube in Turkey.

F.G the terrorist was indicted in absentia for attempting to change Turkey’s system of government and for “forming an terrorist organization with the purpose of establishing an Islamist state.” It was from there that he built his international ultra radical-Islamist terrorist organization. Before the Turkish courts judgement he escped to the United States in 1998.

hi, i m from turkey. i just wanted to say few things about this man (gulen) and his movement.

gulen is nato’s and so usa’s best chance about creating a liberal islam and reforming the religion. usa and cia uses him on this operation for years, so you americans dont have to be scared because he is already working for your goverments long term plans. gulen may look like a radical islamist but he is not. its an illusion. all he does is changing islam and turning it something more acceptable for western civilization. usa supported radical islam during the cold war against sscb but now the situation has changed mostly, now usa is in need of open and secular countries. i guess, under his radical islamist mask gulen will serve this goal in long term.

  34. Suna says:

@BabbaZee: you know how to put blind-faith into minds of young people to exploit them, to drug them so that they will not question anything about the billions of dollars Gulen sect has. Your solidarity, favourism that somehow gets you all the state tenders. Your incredible network and fortune.

  41. Therese says:

    Merebah Inci Siker,
I know how you people work. first the soft touch and if that does not work bring in your killers. You know how Turkey works. It is no longer working for the rights of women – which are in peril. Attaturk, although involved in the genocide of Thracian Greeks, Southern Greeks, Armenians, gave you a constitution for becoming a modern democracy. You are all turning your backs on this now, and I hope the European Union keeps you out forever. Personal experience in your courts and with your police – Turkey is not, and probably will never be ready for admission to this group of countries while ever you have Islam in charge. Your country is now not remotely interested in the rights of women, children or the underdog. Your people are more afraid now than at any time since Erdogan came into office. Turkey is a place where no one should ever invest their money because the majority of Turks are thieves. I can only speak from personal experience so perhaps you can direct me to honest lawyers in your country who speak English and will work for the interest of a female client. So far this has never happened for me, and I have been left without any result against two different men in two different cases taken to a Turkish court. Turkey is shameless if it claims to be an honest country, full of Allah loving gentlemen. You lie too in your comment and as for the cohort of yours Turkiyeden – who only writes in Turkish I say to him An neney sikeum. cant spell it, but sound it out and you will know what I say to you. As to you Salim, if you have ever visited Cappodocia you will understand how well the Turks are at living underground. Perhaps this is the case in the Pocono’s. I dont trust any of the pro comments above and this is why I felt once more I had to write on this subject again. Next time you are in your DVD shop get out a copy of Empire of the Wolves, this will give you another insight into one of the most scenically beautiful countries in the world, ruled by a monster and the biggest monster is ISLAM. I do take great heart from my Turkish female friends living the life in Turkey. Keep the fire of a democratic Turkey burning bright and with the strength to your men who still hold on to the dream of Attaturk. I salute you.

  42. Anthony Hotchkins says:

Come on Paul! Who would believe such bullshoot! Gulen is and has always been one of the most peaceful figures in the Islamic world that has started changing the minds of most extremists even those in Egypt!

  43. Abcd says:

Fethullah Gulen and his followers are not true believers of Islam because they use the religion to attain their political goals. They lie, cheat, make false accusations about people, appoint only their people to positions in goverments. The followers act like cult members. They do whatever they are told without questioning. There is no tolerance for other groups of people. They are merciless cult members who would do anything in their power to attain their goal. Their goal is to control the Turkish goverment. Former CIA member Graham Fuller made a petition to support Fethullah Gulen’s green card application. This is documented and it is a public record. He is protected and welcomed by the US government. US Government’s main goal is to control Turkey through this cult like organization. BTW he is also sexist. He does not value women as equal human beings. These people are very dangerous and close minded. if they were the majority in the states god forbid, there would be no freedom left. They need to be stopped. Followers needs to wake up and be righteous individuals not obedient liars.

  46. Paul, I have known Mr. Gülen for a long time. He is not the kind person described in your website; he is a lovely and peaceful human being. Slandering is a big crime in law and in religion. You are either fooled by reading some hateful Turkish and American authors or you intentionally cook these stories up. Either way, try to think this way: How can a cleric deceive 91 countries simulteanously by opening with 530 schools in them? One cannot cheat rich, strong countries such as USA, Germany, Russia, England, Italy, France at the same. The key in Gülen movement’s success is education, honesty, success and dialog. Do not be a bigot; try to understand him and his followers.

This is all riddiculus. I have been there before to visit Mr.Gulen. I have spent more than 2 weeks and i have never neither heart any gun noise nor seen .If you dont want to believe me , you can ask to residents there.

In additional in north Iraq, there are some schools which were founded by Mr.Gulen’s friends. After these school were founded, the parents pleased to send their children to these school.Becouse they were afraid of thier children might have attended to any terorrist group.

As we see there is a contrast. Please dont confuse people without any proof. This is not honorable, expectually to you.

    Thank you,

    Jack

  50. The Patriot says:

    Mr. Paul L. Williams.
Is it honourable to write articles without proof? As you see, USA invaded Irak and started civil war, while Mr. Gulen opened schools in Irak. There are thousands of people who were graduaded from these schools and they are against terrorism. Have you met with Mr. Gulen? Because you afraid to see the realities. You are creating tales to the american child. Do you think people will believe to your ridiculous articles? You will never see any sentence from Mr. Gulen about war or terrorism against humankind. But at the heading of your blog you are clearly defining that you bring sword, which means war. So, not Mr. Gulen brings sword but you. You want war in the world.

  51. Therese says:

I supposed they graduated from these schools in international terrorism. It is your mission to harm and hurt and maim whatever you see fit. Islam is not a thing of courage, but a destructive force that creeps upon its target with stealth and lies. You are liars. You hate us, and our patience is running out with you criminals.

  52. Merdan says:

I have never met Fethullah Gulen in my life, but I have read some of his published books that were compiled from his speeches and answers to the most important questions that Muslims and Nonmuslims are curious about. I am sure whoever reads his books, or watches him talk about Islam could never dare accuse him of being radical terrorist, but most prejudiced people of course come forth with ridiculous, and stupid allegations that Fethullah Gulen is a threat, unfortunately Mr Gulen was accused to be radical, traitor, terrorist, hypocrite and other repugnant things before , but all those accusations were in vain, because people who accused him know better than me or anyone else for that matter that Mr Gulen is humble person known for his diligence and commitment. He always was against terrorism and despotism and always will be. 9/11 was believed to be organized by some Arabic radicals, but now people all around the world know the truth, and perhaps Mr Williams should start writing his stories based on facts, and not based on his feelings or criticism. Hate Muslims as much as you want, but you will never be able to turn every one against innocents. The World knows who is the real terrorist, and perhaps the World cried the day when the “The New World” was discovered!

First, you have some misinformation, Ataturk was never involved in any alleged genocide or massacre, please revisit your source of knowledge on that.
About your personal experience with Turkish police and law system, I can only say I am sorry as a Turkish citizen, but you are true, we have some very bad eggs in the basket. Yet not “all” of us are like that, trust me. It is not only you facing those “thieves” and rapers, we have problems with them too. Yet, there is still some good people left, and we are trying to fight others.
Well, even years ago, Turkey was not a lawful country and I should admit those you have experienced are not necessarily related to Gulen’s cult. They are better at hiding their evil faces behind a mask of democracy and a veil of humble smiles…
With the support coming from US government, fueled by lack of education in Turkey, Gulen and his minions are prevailing. Now they have government, they have money, and they have power… And with support coming from US government, media, and who knows who else, they are also trying to win the hearts of EU and US citizens… and it seems they are winning that too.
Ayatollah Khomeini was Man of the Year 1979 at Time Magazine, he then went back home and transformed Iran to what it is now. In a couple years, you will see F.Gulen there, and after that, history will repeat itself.
Well, in that case, Gulen will win, US will win… only losers will be us, who seek for a modern secular Turkey…

Yes because before we could see him in the courts, he escaped to States.

    Folks,

We wish Mr.Gulen to be “mubarak” for States. Everyone knows he’s keeping in custody of US officials and he’s used by yours for keeping control of Turkey by his followers. By the way Ataturk’s army will never alloud them and nobody knows Turks’ power when they’ve under attack…

Don’t forget; Gulen kissed Pope’s balls and “approved” for being leader of muslims…!!!

Do not wow much, FG and his followers are also bone heads like you all “crusaders” whom they don’t understand humanity and reality of peace.

God damn all fundamental religious guys who divided our world.

When Gulen comes out openly to fight extremism among Muslims and to help the less knowledgeable to understand the good Quran holds for humanity, they are people who are always available to make sure that Islam is imprecise and to stand in his way yet he is working hard for the good of world peace.
Gulen Fetullah has come out openly to tell the world that there is a need to coexist as human beings by respecting each other’s differences and here comes one William to start sabotage the good he stands for like the way the media has tried to distorted the image of Islam.
Mr William, your just being creative in your thinking may be with your own agenda and it seems, to you and peace are totally diverse.
Here we are seeing a man who has become an enemy of Muslim extremist for being true to what Islam stands for and you’re here calling the media to destroy his image. Give Gulen benefit of doubt and the voices of those who say Islam is a terrorist religion will come to discover that it is a religion of peace that has respect for other religions and even non belives.Islam respects God and believes that He is the creator of the universe and must respect all that he created.
Gulen is a touch for peace in the world. Let us support him for the good of man and his environment.

  64. California Perspective says:

    My observations:

Mr. Gulen’s flock is a coalition of modern to ultra conservative folks. They are not happy with the secular order in Turkey. Also some are in the sect for monetary interests.

Their ultimate goal seems to be a more conservative Turkey. The degree of conservativeness depends on where an individual stands in the movement. Some would be very happy to see a Taleban-like administration yet some would be satisfied with a regime similar to the center-right administrations found in the West.

Their initial goal seems to be to dismantle the secular order in Turkey. To this end they have found an ally in the Justice and Development Party administration of Abdullah Gul and Tayyip Erdogan. In turn, the J&D is finding the support of the Gulenist cadres advantageous.

Do they pose a danger to Turkey? Not immediately. However, when the fully start controlling Turkey, and especially the Turkish armed forces, if the extreme wing of the coalition gains the upper hand, we may see an Iran-like regime in Turkey.

Here’s one of several comments left at Right Truth on this article:

I have to say that Paul Williams’ story is very exaggerated. I am 63 years old Turkish man, retired academician and live in Switzerland. I have no relation to “Nur Cemaat” which F. Gulen leads. In order to write such an article about F. Gulen I suspect that Paul Williams got paid by Gulen’s opposition. Yes, he is a devote muslim; but a muslim who meets the Pope and discusses peace issues. He worked a lot to bring Jews, Christian and Muslims together. I do occasionally listen to his TV talks which he regularly holds at Samanyolu TV, I neither love or hate him but I must say that he is a far better character than most muslims. He doesn’t preach hate or cihad. He is trying to be honest, humble and humane… I am an agnostic person and have no interest to defend him but Paul Williams writings really irritated me; it is biased and not reflecting the true nature of this man and his faith.

I read, with some alarm, but also scepticism, of this man who was such a menace to our country and humanity as Professor Gulen., who was living in our midst.

Who, really, is this man? I set out to find out.

We are a diversified people, here in the United States, with many different colors, religions, philosophies, etc., and to condemn one point of view in such a strong way should have equally strong bac king.
In reading the opinions of those who know Professor Gulen and his works, impresses me far more that he is a man of peace and not of war, intent on pointing out the advantages of living together in peace through diversity.
I put more credence in this version of Professor Gelen than that he is the vicious, warmongering, and hatef-filled person that Williams presents to us.

We need to live with one another with love in our hearts, and not hatred. That corrodes the soul!

  68. Mikael says:

Gulen is a wanted fugitive…….charged with treason and terrorism in his own country.

Dr. Williams had no need to fabricate these charges…….the Turkish Government and Interpol were the references.

If [the illiterate] “Professor” Gulen is so highly regarded (Like bin Laden) then why has he refused to visit Turkey since 1998??

    Eh??

    Matter closed

  69. Feto2 says:

Educator? “Cult leader” is a better way to describe him. Like Jim Jones’s followers, they’re all brainwashed.

What was it that got Gulen in trouble in Turkey? Oh, that’s right, he got caught making a speech to his followers about using their educational qualifications to quietly infiltrate the government until they could replace Turkey’s secular government with an Islamist government. Even telling them to lie to conceal that fact.

Now, while it’s not illegal to advocate such a thing here in the US (which explains all the charter schools his followers are setting up in the US), it is in Turkey. You’ll notice that his followers don’t admit they are, they just say nice things about Feto. (That word – Feto – got a Turkish reporter throwen in jail, by the way.)

Now, his followers claim it was all fabricated, but you’ll notice he hasn’t gone home and is still living in the US. Actions would seem to speak louder that words. If it wasn’t true, he’d have no reason not to go home would he?

His followers – like Jack who can’t compose sentences in English which leads me to believe he’s not American, or even English, but probably Turkish; or Turgay, who seems to be a Gulen believer in Switzerland judging from his Facebook page links – and paid apologists will say it’s all not true. That people are belittling Gulen and his achievements. Making fun of an old man who only wants to make the world a better place.

Well, when I hear that I’m reminded that Italians all claimed there was no Mafia until Joe Valachi came forward and testified in front of Congress exposing the whole dirty business.

  70. binboga says:

After the video recorded in a secret meeting was come into the open, he fled to USA. His followers has taken control of every government institutions except army. If someone is not from his cult, there isn’t a slight chance to be promoted in public services. They don’t accept other muslims to be muslim at all. According to them they are the real believers. His followers are indoctrinated poor family members who are taken care of and aducated in his schools. One day ıf they have decided that the time is up to get the power control in Turkey, we will fight to death.

  71. Gazci says:

Thanks to Williams for showing the real face of Feto! I live in Turkey, and know the story from 60s, when Feto started to create from scratch his empire in Izmir. Plain people, and his followers claim his innocent, friendly and peaceful preaches to describe him. But, he has been caught saying everything is acceptable (mubah) until you reach your target, huh? even lying! How can you believe after all hearing/reading those words.
The most honest guy(?) staying in US under disguise of sickness, and preaching everyday from his TV channels at Turkey. He has not received the permanent stay in US because of sickness, but “extraordinary ability in the field of education”; thanks to his friends/bosses/colleagues in CIA!
We will see soon, if they cracked the egg early or at the correct time!
Another thing, ask him if he has ever gone to hadj (Mekkah) to become a pilgrim, could he visit Saudi? It is a shame to US to host him, and not to return him to Turkey!

  72. soldier of fortune says:

i am sure that FG followers are innocent people and they think they are serving for the ISLAM but as a reality they are serving for FUNDEMENTALIST ISLAMIC GROUPS powered by CIA.
But American people should know that by time this kind of organizations will be return themselves back and attack to American People with the own money of American People.
right now we are suffering here in Turkey as a modern and secular people of this country.
they are allover, they grab all kind of goverment offices and with their black brain they does not give us any life space and any possibility to live here.
They are like a cockroachs,if they placed in one region 1 of them being 100 in a week and they are like a virus.
You are keeping very dangerous virus middle of US.

  73. Anti-Fetoooosh says:

At last an American who has concious, thank you Mr. Williams. I am a secularist Turkish muslim who hate Feto and his group leaders cheating plain and mostly poor people. He is not only supported by CIA but I believe he is a genuine agent and a Catholic priest because according to Islam every man and woman must marry, he never got married like???
I hope God may protect all the people (Muslims, Jews, Christians, etc) from this kind of bad people who are using religion to kill, use, hurt other people…

  74. Gulen is a very powerful man, thanks to the aid of the US. They (the US) assisted Gulen with CIA funding build his empire, just as they did with Saddam Husein in the 80’s and Bin Laden.
Gulen is being used by the US to weaken the republic of Turkey just like Bin Laden was used against the Russians and Hussein against Iran…
It’s typical of the US to create a monstor and use them for their own resource which is predominantly built around profit. The CIA were the ones who allowed Gulen to escape from Turkey after the 1980 coup… Also backed by the CIA…
The CIA were the ones who provided letters of endorsement from former CIA Deputy Director Graham Fuller, former Under Secretary of State Marc Grossman, and former Ambassador to Turkey Morton Abramowitz which accompanied Gulens application for residential status. On 5th December 2007, the Turkish Puppet Prime Minister had a meeting with the US President, Bush… one of the results of that meeting lead to 35 high ranking military/Intelligence officers flying to Turkey, and residing in Ankara… where they still reside today.
These group of intelligence officers are solely responsible (using Gulen’s backbone of infrastructure such as Newspapers, TV stations, personel etc) for the destabilisation of democracy. Since the infamous meeting of November 2007, they have been responsible for
Ergenekon – including false statements and documents leaked to the press, unearthing of weapons (supposedly buried by the Turkish Military Forces) 5000 pages of an Army Coup Document which was supposedly to be carried out by the Turkish Armed forces..
The aim is to weaken the stance of the Turkish Armed Forces who see itself as the sole protector of the Modern Republic of Turkey. F. Gulen has rid the country of any other administration which stands in his way. He controls the Universities, the government, the Police force, the Supreme Courts… Everyday Turkey is being driven into a Moderate Islamic State. This is clearly visible…
The aim is to destabilise Turkey and enable the creation of a Kurdish State in Northern Iraq, which will eventually take up part of Iran and Turkey.. Hence why the US wants to bomb Iran this year. This will allow a puppet regime like Kurdistan to protect America’s Interests in the region. The US hopes to have control of Northern Iraq via Kurdistan and open a corridor all the way to Afghanistan and south to the ports, and into the untapped regions of Northern China. It’s all about future US Energy interests.
Refer to CIA operative Charles Sam Faddis author of “Operation Hotel California”.
This proves beyond doubt the CIA/US funded and assisted in the creation of the PKK terrorists who were trained, dressed and fed with CIA funding in the 1980’s. It proved to be successful as now the PKK are a tool used by CIA to achieve its objectives.
Gulen is one of these tools… If Gulen succeeds, it will be the end of democracy in Turkey… but the US will come one step closer to annihilation also.
The onus is on you, the people of the US, you need to inform one another of what is happening without your consent. You did not elect a government to topple other governments and destabilise entire regions. You need to take control of your government and put pressure on them to assist in spreading peace. You should start by campaigning the closure of all Gulens schools. Don’t believe the hype you read about this man. He is truly a very dangerous man. Why is he not allowed to go back to his homeland? Why is he living under the protection of the CIA? If Gulen was such a peaceful Islamist, why does he not go the any of the Arab countries? – They too will hang him on the spot!

At his sermons, his devotees wear out by weeping and crying, their lacrimals dries, they blow their nose and waste many hankies. At the height of the sermon some of them faints.

  80. Turkish4Life says:

Gulen lives in the USA because he has too much controversy in Turkey. Honestly, I was born in the USA and there is no problem with him having Islamic Turkish Schools. However, they should be private schools – not supported by US Tax payers.
I would like to challenge the credentials of these so-called teachers that Gulen’s movement is bringing from Turkey. Are they even up to standards for american education? The hype and high test scores is all apart of the elaborate Gulen Public Relations which he also controls. But what do you expect from a man who only has a 12th grade education?
I laugh when I look at his Magnolia school websites and the countless videos of American children singing in Turkish, dancing Turkish and reciting poetry in Turkish yet none of these American kids can properly speak English or even know American Folklore. The funniest is seeing African – American children rattling off Turkish. Or the trips to Turkey granted to students from the poor towns of Carson, CA – who is paying for it? Niagara Foundation? Cosmos Foundation? Concept? Daisy etc.,
If Gulen has nothing to hide, then why all the different names and secrecy?
Why all the owned media for damage control?
Why are only Turkish people allowed on the board of directors?
Only Turkish people allowed as principals (mainly men)
    Why not trust American teachers?
Why have 2 schools closed down? Many more being investigated:
    Beehive Academy (UT) Chesspeake (MD)
Open up the audit records Gulen
    Be transparent

  81. Turkish4Life says:

    2 questions for Gulen:
What do you suppose would happen if Christian Americans opened 90 Schools in Turkey?

If you are promoting interfaith dialogue then why push predominately HB-1 Visa Turkish teachers only? Why not Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, B’hai, Jewish
Import some teachers from: Israel, China, Russia, Japan, India

Go ahead Gulen, have at it. You embarass Turkish – Americans. No thanks, I will send my children to a private Turkish Islamic school not a Tax payer supported one.
